LUVLOOPS MUSES - INDIRA PROFIR

Hi all, welcome to our new blog post of muses at LuvLoops! In this blog post, you will get to know the woman who inspires me and always motivates me in my early journey with LuvLoops -Indira Profir.

Indira is a woman empowered in many roles in her life, a full-time programmer,  a model, marathon enthusiast, and Gym rat.

When I first decided to set up my own small jewellery business I texted her and asked her if she would be interested in modeling for my post feeds. This is where everything starts. 9 months later, I asked her if she would be happy to be featured in our blog, and here we are.

There is so much value that I have learned from her and I wish to share the same with you. Let's read her stories, her life goals, and how she inspires me in so many ways while my journey with LuvLoops Jewellery.

TELL US A BIT ABOUT YOURSELF

I have moved to the UK in 2013, I am originally from Romania. I have done my Computer Science degree in Manchester, and then I moved to London to work as a software developer, which is what I've been mainly doing for the past 3 years. But in contrast with the 'techie stereotype', I have always had inclinations towards sports and creativity. In my spare time, I love traveling, taking pictures, playing basketball, and working out in general. From the cities I have seen so far, my favorite one is definitely Barcelona. I am in love with Latin culture, and this city has it all, topped with amazing views, food, clubs, and beaches.

WHAT EXCITES YOU IN YOUR LIFE?

At the moment, given the whole pandemic situation, I am most excited about my job and learning as much as I can there. I have recently moved to a new team and my manager is a very inspiring mentor that motivates me. Once the world gets back to normal, I really want to travel to more foreign countries; I really want to visit Thailand next year, I've been postponing it for a while. Also, you are constantly inspiring me to build up my creative profile on Instagram, so I am trying to get better at that!
WHAT IS THE MOST IMPORTANT THING TO LEARN FROM YOUR LIFE SO FAR?
The most important thing to learn from my life is that you can fit in pretty much any activity you enjoy in your free time if you pay more attention to how you choose to give it away.
HOW DO YOU BALANCE YOUR LIFE?
I try to do the things that take most willpower to start in the first part of the day - for example, during marathon training, if I have a run/gym session planned, I know after work it will be the last thing I want to do, so I try to do it before work, even if I am not a morning person at all. The modeling stuff I do during weekends and I always schedule in advance so I can plan anything else accordingly. It doesn't always work smoothly, but practice makes perfect, or so they say.
WHAT ARE YOU LOOKING TO ACHIEVE IN THE NEAR FUTURE?
In the near future, I am focusing on becoming better at my job, posting more often on my Instagram account you inspired me to create, learning Spanish, and being consistent with the physiotherapy workouts that help me train without upsetting my previous injuries. And once we're out of quarantine I want to go dancing more often!
NAME THREE MUST-HAVES IN YOUR LIFE
Music, sport and my people.
